1. 4-year-old girl,with an unremarkable medical history, is admitted in a tertiary hospital with a history of high fever, productive cough and tachypnea lasting for 10 days, progressive worsening despite empirical oral antibiotic. Physical examination upon presentation revealed an underweight child, with high fever (40°C) in moderate respiratory distress.Chest radiograph revealed large opacity in the inferior half of the left hemithorax. Enumerate the investigations and the treatment course followed. List out the most probable organism causing this illness.
